What is Navigo Easy?
Navigo Easy is a contactless pass designed specifically for occasional travelers and tourists. With this pass, you can load and store dematerialized transport tickets and then use them to validate your journeys on the metro, bus, tram, and RER. The pass is non-nominative, so it can be transferred or loaned to others.
If multiple people are traveling together on the same journey, each traveler must have and validate their own pass.

Additionally, you cannot mix full-fare and reduced-fare tickets of the same type on the same card.

How to Use Navigo Easy
Buy the Card
Purchase a Navigo Easy card at any metro station ticket machine for €2.
Load Tickets
Add metro tickets, day passes, airport tickets, or Paris Visite to your card.
Tap to Enter
Hold your card against the purple reader at metro gates or bus validators.
Keep Your Card
The card is reusable. Reload it anytime during or after your trip.
Navigo Easy FAQ
Can I use Navigo Easy to get to/from the airport?
Yes! You can load a Paris Region ↔ Airports ticket (for RER to CDG/Orly), RoissyBus ticket, or a Paris Visite pass. Regular Metro-Train-RER tickets don't cover airport stations.
How long is the Navigo Easy card valid?
The card itself doesn't expire. You can reload and reuse it on future trips to Paris. Loaded tickets are valid for 10 years.
Can I get a refund for unused tickets?
No, loaded tickets are non-refundable. Only load what you'll use.
Can multiple people use one Navigo Easy card?
The card can be transferred or loaned since it's non-nominative. However, if multiple people are traveling together on the same journey, each traveler must have and validate their own pass - you cannot share one card for the same trip.
